Last night Maggie and I completed our 3 concert week with a great set by Joe Jackson.

Jackson worked through the past faves and several new works from the new CD. Accompanying himself on piano, the trio (bass & drums) was a tight ensemble. The hour and forty-five minute set seemed to fly by.
It’s been a diverse (and enjoyable) week of live musical experiences.
Tuesday night we enjoyed an impressive set by Jackson Browne. Accompanying himself with only with an acoustic guitar (Maggie counted 15 of them on stage) and electric piano, Browne gave us an intimate tour through his vast catalog of music.
Certainly one of this country’s great singer/songwriters. It was a wonderful experience to see and listen to him perform those songs solo. Great stuff live.
