Maggie’s Ruth & Bob project came to completion over the weekend. This had to wait several weeks for Ruth and Bob themselves to be here so that several new, contemporary photographs could be made. These were needed to complete a small gap in the last chapter.
Several glitches then needed to be repaired: several image animations, a small audio pop, an area of timing, and a couple of transitions. A DVD was burned of the final edit and then, of course, the entire project was backed up.
It is always a strange mix of happiness and sadness when one completes a project that has taken the better part of eight months to complete. Now it is a 40 minute documentary that will live a life of its own once released to the family and friends.
The premiere (which will be a surprise for Ruth and Bob) is less than two weeks away.
