An interesting day today this Friday the 13th…
Final grades were due at noon but mine were completed some twelve hours previous. For those who did their work, it was a successful semester (minus one clunker.)
Made at least three student’s days.
Went to school (work) and dealt with several administrative issues, solved a couple minor problems, and scheduled several meetings.
Had lunch and heard that an important connection was in the works between Tunxis and University of Hartford regarding New Media.
Helped one of my staff locate a better job description so I can prepare a request for an upgrade for them.
Finished the last shot in Patrice’s film.
Worked for three hours with Patrice and finished (for the most part) the teaser for Patrice’s upcoming film. This included audio manipulation, editing, and other assorted sweetenings. Converted the one minute teaser to an MPG video on CD and also onto VHS tape.
Went to Sally’s end of semester party (late because of the editing), watched the teaser with everyone about a thousand times, listened to music, played music, ate, and had a variety of conversations with a variety of people present.
Came home to a voice message from the Dean about an instructor who had not turned in final grades.
Ate a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Wrote about twelve e-mails to get caught up with various pending student and administrative issues.
Realized that I forgot an important set of notes that I needed to have to update a document to be distributed on Monday morning. Still trying to decide how to resolve this.
Began writing this post.
There is a Klondike bar calling my name in the fridge.
