Points or Percentages?
Today there is a growing array of Web-based user agents (Web browsers, WebTV, PDAs, cell phones, etc.). The use of relative font size values better addresses the issues of useability with these devices.
The table, below, provides equivalent percentage values for the seven different <font> sizes, points, and percentages.
Example:

Note: You must be careful if you mix relative sizes together as percentages are cumulative.
